| Job Description: | SAP lead - (SAP FICO) - Growing Organisation with prestigious client base (SAP Partner and Award winner) The purpose of this SAP FICO role is to act as an intermediary between functional owners (Projects Analysts) and the SAP technical support organisation in relation to development, implementation and support of SAP functionality. Responsibility to ensure the continuity of SAP processes. During the first phases of the client go live the role will predominantly focus on requirement gathering presenting yourself and the buisness in a good light with clients building relationships -presentations, training, etc. The key is a solid commercial undertaking of the Finance module, having completed several full lifecycle over many years commercially. The SAP FICO Application lead will have good configuration and analysis skills. - To discuss and agree functional and technical demands and appropriate solutions with Project Analysts. - Maintain contact with Project Analyst (functional owner) and advise on the functional and technical feasibility regarding request for changes, advising if solutions are most appropriate. - For the interim period during the implementation window, involvement in incident resolution, becoming less so over the go-lives as the focus shifts to SAP change management. - To manage the relationship with functional and technical consultants to provide both incident resolution and development services. - To ensure that procedures, quality assurance, templates and documentation according to the current SAP Competence Centre standards. - To obtain up to date knowledge about SAP developments in the functional area. - To maintain the integrity, manageability and architectural aspects of the SAP systems beyond the borders of the own functionality. - To assist with creation of functional and technical specifications. The successful SAP FICO Application Manager will be educated to degree level (or equivalent),. He/she will have strong analytical/evaluative ability with highly developed interpersonal skills and the confidence and competence to develop effective business relationships with key stakeholders. |
